• NEW CD • David Pyatt: British Horn Concertos (Jacob, Arnold, Bowen, Gibbs, Vintner) This CD has been CD of the week on BBC Radio 3 and has received some outstanding reviews. On this CD are the horn concertos by Gordon Jacob, Malcolm Arnold, York Bowen and Ruth Gibbs with a seldom recorded orchestral instrumentation of Gilbert Vinter's Hunters Moon as a brilliant finale.

• NEW CD • J. Bernado Silva: Canções Lunares An exciting, brand new CD with some excellent new works for Horn. Works on this CD include R. Strauss: Introduction, Theme and variations op.17; Neuling: Bagatelle; Ketting: Intrada; Carrapatoso: Sweet Rustica (a modern portuguese composer); and 2 new works for horm tuba and piano by a french composer Jean-Francois Leze: Cancoes Lunares (Lunar Songs) and Tango & Paso Doble. The CD also inlcudes the Baumann edited version of Rossini's Le Rendez-vous de Chasse.

• NEW CDS • Vienna Horns and Art of Brass: A journey with Strauss, Schubert and Brahms The Vienna Horns have brought out a new compilation in collaboration with the Art of Brass Vienna brass quintet. As on their previous album, there are some stunning performances and some brilliant arrangements. Music arrangements from Strauss waltzes to Mahler's 2nd symphony, 'Urlicht', 4th movement to Bruckner's triumphant Scherzo from his 4th Symphony. Vienna Horns showcases the leading Austrian players on Vienna Horns. Guildhall Horn Soloists features performances from internationally recognised soloists and the French Horn Ensemble from London's Guildhall School of Music.

Paxman loyalty card

• LOYALTY CARD • The Paxman loyalty card has been a great success since it was introduced in 1997.

Every time a customer makes a purchase and gives their card number to the sales staff 1% of the invoice value (ex-VAT) is credited to a special account. The credits in this account can be collected indefinitely and redeemed against goods and services provided by Paxman, including repairs.

Loyalty Card holders who order goods from the web site should give their Loyalty Card number in Additional Information on the Cashier/Customer Details page.
